Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ and today we’re going to demonstrate the shoulder airbags of the Osaki OS-3D Pro Dreamer. Now, airbags, shoulder airbags in massage chairs can be used for different purposes. Some are used to inflate to the front of the shoulders, to pin them back, as we would see on the Osaki Pro Cyber, or the Infinity IT-8500, or the Flex, Inada Flex 3s, but other airbags on the shoulders are working just to pin the shoulders in, and that’s what the Dreamer does. They inflate to hold the shoulders in place, so that when the rollers go up and down your back, it will keep the shoulders there from moving forward when the rollers hit you, and increase the intensity, just by virtue of the positioning when those airbags are inflated.

Alan: So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to demonstrate to you the shoulder airbags, so you can see them work on the Osaki OS-3D Pro Dreamer. As a matter of fact, maybe what I’ll do is I’ll get inside it, so people can see how they actually work on me, when I’m in it. So, I’m going to go to the manual settings, and I’m going to push ‘Shoulder,’ and we’re going to see – the rollers are going to start working right now, which they’re doing, and the airbags in the – now you can see the shoulders inflating, do you see how they’re inflating to the outside of my shoulders? Now, I can’t lean forward, and that’s the idea, so that when the rollers go up and down my back, it’ll keep me pinned in, so that I’m not moving forward with the rollers, that’s the purpose of these airbags. They’re not designed to pull the shoulders back, for postural correction, like some of the other chairs that I mentioned earlier. They’re designed solely to keep you in place, and it is an intense compression, some might feel that it’s actually massaging the deltoid muscles on the outside of the shoulders, and it might be like a compression massage that way.

Alan: But I think the primary purpose of these airbags is to kind of just compress and hold, compress, release, compress, hold, compress, release, and allow for the body to get a better massage from the rollers, in the upper back. So, that is the shoulder airbags of the Osaki OS-3D Pro Dreamer.
