OS-3D Pro Dreamer (faux wood accents)Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ and today I’m going to demonstrate to you how to use the 3D function, the 3D-roller function, from the remote control of the Osaki OS-3D Pro Dreamer massage chair. Now, the 3D function is a relatively new feature in massage chairs, it allows the rollers to move forward and back to increase or decrease the intensity of the rollers, respectively. What this allows, what it does, is it allows for different users in the same household, with different sensitivities, to have the chair cater to their sensitivity. So, if you like a really deep massage, you can move those rollers way forward and increase the intensity, if they don’t want so much intensity, you can retract the rollers and have a lighter massage, but the 3D can be adjusted from the remote control.

Alan: There is a 3D control button on the remote, and it’s this little bar that goes across the middle of the remote control. I’ve turned the chair on, what I’m going to do is I’m going to pick one of the programs, the ‘Anti-Stress’ program. You’ll see here on the screen -– and this is a small remote, much smaller than the sister chair, the Cyber, which is its sister chair -– but you’ve got a timer at the top, and on the bottom half of that circle, you have the ‘3D Intensity’ massage. Now, when you’re in an automated program like we are right now, you only have two settings for the intensity, and so you can adjust that right here. So, you’ve got a ‘+’ and a ‘-‘ sign on either side of that bar. If I push the ‘+’ button – oh, you know what, it’s still doing a scan on me, so we’ll wait for the scan to be completed, but once the scan is completed – then you can adjust the intensity by moving the rollers forward or back. Let’s see if it’ll work now, I think it should work now, there you see how it popped up, there’s one setting there, then you can go back, one setting, two setting, and it’s down to the lowest.

Alan: That’s in the automated setting, but what about if you want to have more flexibility with the intensity adjustment, with the 3D adjustment? Well, what you could do is you can do can go to the manual settings, which are underneath the flap here, and you push that button to – well, there’s a series of buttons here that give you different modes of massage – I just pushed the ‘Kneading.’ If I want to have ‘Kneading’ and ‘Tapping,’ I can push that button, and now it’s ‘Kneading’ and ‘Tapping,’ but you’ll notice here again on the 3D, it’s at the lowest setting. Now, if I want to increase it, I push the ‘+’ sign on the bar, on the 3D bar, and look how many different settings I’ve got – one, two, three, four, five – five different settings, and now it’s really pushing me forward, now the rollers are really working me, you can see that. Now, if you’ve got the video on me, you’re seeing how far my chest is pushing out. Now, I’m going to decrease the intensity, now watch where it goes, now do you see how my chest is now retracting in to the chair, see how it’s gone back, I’ll push it again, out, just a minute, the rollers are in my mid back, now it’s coming up. Now, you see, push it, push more, push more again, again, and again, see how it’s pushing my chest out, that’s the function of the 3D.

Alan: If I get out of the chair, you can see it even more vividly on the rollers themselves. You can see the rollers there – I’ll move this flap up and over the back of the chair – see the rollers, and you can see that, and you can adjust the intensity by retracting the rollers. Now the rollers are way back, you don’t see the tissue, or the material, move as much. Now I’m going to increase it again, watch how far out they come out, see how far they’re pushing out even more now, now you can really see them pushing. So, that is the 3D function of the chair, and that was the 3D function from the remote control. So, that is how you adjust the intensity of the OS-3D Pro Dreamer, it’s a lovely feature.

Alan: Again, it allows for greater flexibility of the use of the chair for people who have different sensitivities. Some can’t handle very intense massages, some you can never get it intense enough, so the 3D gives you that flexibility.
