New Warranty For Panasonic Massage Chairs

Panasonic just announced this week that they are increasing their new chair warranty from 1 year parts and labor to 3 years parts and labor. Both the old and the new warranties included in-home service. This is for all Panasonic massage chairs.

I think that ultimately the client wins and I am glad to see Panasonic step up to the plate to offer this kind of warranty. Inada introduced this warranty a couple of years ago and it has been awesome. Panasonic is only the second company to offer this type of warranty on all their chairs. Omega offers a 5 year parts and labor, in-home warranty on their new Montage Pro chair, but that is the only chair in their catalog that has this type of warranty.

The Panasonic warranty also offers an additional 2 years of parts only after the 3 years full warranty is over. That two extra years is also included in every new Panasonic massage chair sold.

I don’t know if there will be an extended warranty offered, but if it is, you will be given the opportunity to purchase it directly from Panasonic when you get your new chair. Paperwork to that effect is included in every new Panasonic massage chair box.

Another Osaki OS-7000 Massage Chair Tip…

Here is another tip from a recent buyer of the Osaki OS-7000 massage chair, in his own words:

“The chair defaults to the “weightless” program when started. Interestingly, any of the individual massage buttons (leg/foot, shoulder/waist) can be run while IN the weightless position. The “weightless” button on the bottom of the remote will automatically put you in the zero gravity position, and from there you can select the manual functions. From this position, the shoulder pods work really well without the body sliding down. The leg massage also hits a better spot on the calf in this position.”

As this new Osaki chair is so popular, I am sure this tip will assist someone. By the way, the shoulder “pods” are airbags that inflate and compress against the front of the shoulders. It is a very simple way of “pinning” the shoulders back so that the body does not slide. This obviously works in manual settings, as mentioned above, but it is also a primary component of the Thai Stretch program, which pins your  shoulders at the same time as your feet are being pinned by airbags down low. With the top and bottom of your body being held in place, the rollers are far more intense and effective when they go over your spine.
