Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to demonstrate to you the hip airbags of the Infinity Escape massage chair. Now, not all massage chairs have hip airbags. Most do, but some don’t, and the purpose of the hip airbags – it depends on the chair – but for most of them, it’s designed to inflate, they both inflate at the same time, to hold the hips in place, so when the rollers go down your back, rather than the rollers moving the hip forward out of the seat, or forward in the seat, it holds the hips in the seat. So, it kind of tractions the seat, and the rollers go down your back, and can give you a deeper back massage. Some chairs have – like the Infinity Iyashi has airbags that inflate from one side to the next – so it’s designed not so much to hold you in place, as it is to move you across the seat, and that’s usually in a chair like an Iyashi, that has the rollers going underneath the seat.

Alan: So, it creates this shearing motion of the airbags, pushing your hips across the rollers. But in this chair, we are going to show you how they both inflate at the same time, to – oh, just a minute, sorry – we’ll turn this on. So, they both inflate at the same time, to hold the hips in place, so that you can get a better, more intense, low back massage from the rollers. Because sometimes when the rollers come down the back, and they lift the body forward on the seat, it doesn’t get as deeply intense of a massage. Now, you’ll see now that the airbags are starting to inflate on both sides. Unlike the arms, that inflate one side, then the other, the hips inflate on this one, both at the same time. Now, you see how they’re squeezing, and that will hold the hips in place.

Alan: And again, like the shoulder airbags, and the arm airbags, they inflate a little bit, then retract a smidge, inflate more, and then retract a bit. And that’s pretty much how the hip airbags work on the Infinity Escape massage chair, very simple, nothing fancy. The whole purpose, again, is to hold the hips in place, so that when the rollers come down the back, it tractions the seat, it tractions your butt, and holds you in place, so that the rollers can dig a little bit deeper when it goes down the back, and in to the tailbone. But anyway, that’s the hip airbags for the Infinity Escape massage chair. I hope you found this video helpful. If you did, please feel free to thumbs up ‘Like’ us on our YouTube channel.
