Women put a lot of strain on their backs during child birth and rearing. As women are getting older we are seeing more women with issues of chronic back pain. Studies suggest that disc degeneration in women may be due in part because of lowering estrogen levels that break down through the years. We examine the evidence of the study showing that even women in menopause are showing the signs and symptoms of this disease due to these conditions in the body.
