By analyzing military families, they found that sharing good news with family and friends tended to decrease stress and boost the mood of the group. Itโs not just about sharing though. The person you are telling also has to receive it in a positive way for it to reflect back on the giver in a positive way. You and the other person being happy about the good news makes the situation seem more positive.
