We’re also seeing that it’s almost like all the massage chairs started going up, up, up in price. Even the cheaper chairs were getting more expensive.
Then I think some online marketers became wise to that and started bringing in chairs from smaller, less expensive factories. These were cheaper products and, in many cases, more cheaply made, but they were priced in the $1,500 to $3,000 range. That became quite appealing to people shopping for massage chairs online.
Of course, these chairs aren’t built as well as the higher-end models. There is a difference. It’s not like you have a Rolls-Royce and another Rolls-Royce, with one priced at $3,000 and the other at $20,000. It’s more like having a Rolls-Royce on one end and maybe a Yugo on the other. I don’t even know if you remember those cars, but there’s definitely a difference in the build quality of the two.
As I’ve always said, these lower-priced chairs bring people into the massage chair market. You may start with a $2,500 chair, and it might work just fine for you. However, it may not last as long, and you may experience breakdowns or have trouble getting support from the company you bought it from.
As more and more of these $1,500 to $3,000 massage chairs became available, they became appealing to a lot of buyers.
I hope you found this video helpful. I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief, and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye-bye.
