Alan: But they raise at different intervals, and the reason some chairs do that is because it wants to create this wave-like motion of the airbags to enhance the circulation of the extremities. But you can see that the hands go a little bit – there’s a little bit more of a squeeze, a little tighter squeeze because the hand is thinner, and back here, the forearm is larger, and so you’re going to – you’re not going to get as much of an inflation. So, it’s going on the other arm right now, but what we’ll do is we’ll just wait for a moment to come back to this arm, and you’ll be able to see the airbags inflate on the hands. There it goes now on the hands, and it’s also squeezing me – I don’t know if you can see it as well when my hand’s in there – but you will find that the airbags will squeeze with a good amount of pressure. You can adjust the pressure of the airbags. If it’s too much or not enough, you can adjust it up or down, but it’s squeezing the knuckles on my hand pretty good, and it’s giving a good squeeze to the forearm, not a whole lot in the wrist, a little bit in the wrist, but the two airbags are here, and back here. So, this little area just up above the wrist doesn’t really get hit much, but there’s not a lot of musculature there, it’s mostly in the palms, and in the forearms, and that’s how the airbags work for the arms in the Osaki OS-4000T.

Alan: And I might also add that most chairs, as a safety mechanism, don’t have both arms inflated at the same time, because if something was to happen where you have to, in an instant, get out of the chair, and you’ve got both arms stuck, you’re going to have trouble, there may be a bit of a problem getting out in an instant. So, the airbags will typically inflate on one side, and then the other. When I was describing this earlier, I said ‘OK, it’s not inflating now because it’s inflating on the left arm,’ that’s pretty typical for most massage chairs, it is a safety feature. It’s not because, you know, it’s better to have one arm, you know, circulating – the blood supply and the lymph supply in one arm circulating versus the another, not at the same time, that’s not the way – that’s not what it’s about. It’s about a convenience factor and a safety factor for the user. OK, that’s the arm airbags for the Osaki OS-4000T.
