That’s right, there are actually certain types of food you can eat that will reduce and relieve your stress! Watch this video with a nutritionist who says that certain foods can help manage stress. Cortisol is a stress hormone produced by the adrenal glands but you can lower cortisol levels just by eating the right foods. Some of those foods are things like oatmeal, a complex carb that releases seratonin into the body which reduces stress in your brain.  Other types of relaxing foods are oysters, beans, and even pistachios!
