The Limeade Institute discovered a link between engagement and stress levels. The institute surveyed 450,000+ employees across a range of different fields including retail and health care. What they found was that 57 percent of employees who reported themselves as being actively engaged at work and productive were much more likely to have lower stress levels. The authors of the study wrote that these employees may approach their work with enthusiasm and simply do not view their work as stressful.
