This is typically discovered by a large study of twins that study genetic factors affecting both conditions that may be involved in the link between back pain and depression.
According to the study, genetic factors affecting both conditions may be involved in the association between back pain and depression. The report was done by Marina B. Pinheiro, MSc, and the colleagues of The University of Sydney, Australia.
The study used twin data to explore the link between back pain and depression which provided a unique opportunity to make the linkage more clear by eliminating the genetic an environmental factors that contribute to them.
