A new study conducted by the Weizmann Institute of Science found that stress affects men and women differently. Researchers discovered that a certain receptor in the brain reacts to stressful stimuli, such as being hungry or in danger, differently in men and women.
It’s believed that through further research, new drugs might be developed that will allow male and female anxiety and depression sufferers to receive more effective treatments for their disorders.
