Research shows how stress is related to the brain and not to each situation. The research showed that people who are able to remain calm and focused in stressful situations have engagement of specific regions of the brain. This allows them to not become stressed and remain focused on the task at hand. One way people can learn to remain calm in stressful situations is to practice meditation, but for many other an easier method is to learn to anchor positive or calming memories in their mind. It will take some practice, but overtime you will be able to make a movement or gesture to anchor the memory and stay calm.
