Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to demonstrate some of the features of the shoulder airbags of the Apex Ultra massage chair. Now, the shoulder airbags on this chair are the kind that inflate to the outside of the shoulders, and a little bit to the front, so it pulls the shoulders back a little bit when they inflate, and I’ll show that to you in a moment. But one thing that’s kind of cool about this chair, that makes it very unique, is you can adjust the width of the shoulder airbags. So, if you’ll notice, they’re on their furthest outward position. Now, we can move it in one position on both sides, and that’s for a narrower body, so maybe a younger man, or a very thin man, or a thin woman. If it’s even thinner, you can push it in another step, another step in, and now it’s enclosing even more on a really thin upper body, and then if you want to bring it back to the original, push it back in again, and it pops back out. In, out, bang, that’s how these shoulder airbags can be positioned, pretty cool feature, I’ve never seen that on another chair before. Now, as far as the shoulder airbags go, I’m going to turn these on for you right now. You’ll see – oh, just a minute – yeah, now the shoulder airbags are inflating. See how they’re inflating, and then they’re going to inflate a little bit more, a little bit more. Now, imagine that your shoulders are pinned in there. It would probably be better if I sat in there, but see how they’re inflating to the outside, and the side of the shoulders, to push them back in to the chair.

Alan: And what that does is when it’s working in concert with the rollers, the rollers can push your chest forward, while the airbags are pinning your shoulders back. You can see the rollers coming up now, while the shoulder airbags are actually on, and it’s holding your body back and pinning it in, while the rollers come up and down. And then when the airbags release, they slowly release air, and then they inflate again, and usually shoulder airbags, like most airbags, they inflate kind of sequentially, like little steps, psht, psht, psht, and then out. So, it’s not just one big inflation, and one big deflation, so that’s how the shoulder airbags work on the Apex Ultra massage chair. If you found this video helpful.
