A portion of every sale goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation
- Extended Roller Track (L-Track) - Your roller massage will extend from your neck to the top of your hamstrings. The L-Track gives you gluteal and piriformis massage that has been heretofore only lightly touched by airbags!
- Dual Mechanical Foot Rollers - Dual massage rollers in each foot will provide a luxuriously therapeutic reflexology-like massage to your feet. A wonderful gift for those of you who stand on your feet all day.
- Mechanical Calf Rollers - One of the few massage chairs that has mechanical calf rollers. Located behind the top of each calf, these rollers will add a whole new dimension to calf massage. Combined with the mechanical foot rollers, your legs and feet will never be the same.
- Zero Gravity Positioning - This chair comes with 3 preset zero gravity positions so that you can find the perfect recline position for you with one quick touch of a button.
- 30 Airbags - Shoulders, calves, feet, seat, arms & hands, back & waist, and thighs.
- Hip Twist Program - Clever coordinated use of the waist, seat, and back airbags provides a twisting motion to the low back and pelvis that will increase range of motion in a part of our body that gets very little movement throughout the day. You'll love it!
- Lumbar (Low Back) Heat - 2 heating pads in the low back area will soothe and relax tight and fatigued muscles which will allow the rollers and airbags to go even further with your body.
- Adjustable Shoulder Airbag Positioning - An interesting feature heretofore not seen on any other massage chair, the shoulder airbag positioning allows for narrow and broad shouldered users the ability to adjust the width of the shoulder housing to accommodate their body frame.
- MP3 Music System - Plug in your mobile device and you can play your own music over the chair's stereo speak system for your listening enjoyment.

Apex Ultra Massage Chair Reviews (12)

Lots of research went into this purchase before my husband and I even stepped foot into the showroom. We had picked out three, eight thousand to ten thousand dollar, chairs by reading reviews and checking specifications online. We thought this would save time and make it easy, once we got to the showroom, to pick out our Massage chair. Hahahaha..little did we know the entire experience took about half of a day!! The service was 5 star! The atmosphere was 5 star! The buying experience also 5 star!!.
But we were not especially found of the three message chairs we preselected. Little did we know "on paper" and actually testing them out made us change our minds. We ended up with this Apex. What an amazing chair!! It gave us a very strong heavy duty full body massage, unlike any of other the other chairs. We regularly get full body massages and are used to the deep tissue therapy and have come accustomed to that type of "rougher massage" There was a snafu during delivery, but the company stepped top and made good on making it right. Overall exceptional experience with the California location! I highly recommend this company.

This is not my first rodeo with the massage chair. For years my brother is had one and I've been envious of him since we wandered into a Brookstone one day and he decided to pick up a chair. Finally it was time for me to do one for myself and I spent weeks online just trying to find one the perfect company to work with and to the perfect chair to fit my needs. I started out to just do the same has he did but I noticed brookstone selling more refurb chairs than new ones so I decided to take my chances online. I've been absolutely amazed with both the chair and the support that I received. First the website is very easy to navigate in there was plenty of information on each chair. you could tell that Alan has taken time to not only give you the most information he could about each product but then go the extra step to actually have video reviews for each product done by himself with his own personal comments on that chairs best features. The one thing I will say is anybody looking for massage chair it's like buying a TV or computer or any other ancillary items for your house, go ahead and set your budget first. There such a wide range of massage chairs out there you do find yourself slowly creeping up to the next level then the next level. You will absolutely never be able to make a decision unless you just have a hard stop for how much money that you want to spend. But once you've decided how much you want to spend go for the best that you can get in your price range I really wanted to get into one of the Japanese were expensive chairs but my budget simply wouldn't allow it. But all the reviews that I read online about the apex line and the ultra model made it a shoe in for my price point as well as the feature set that I wanted to find. Granted it did take a little while to get my chair somewhere in the neighborhood of three to four weeks because of logistics with the shipping company. After I receive the chairs there was nothing but joy. The massage on the chair is a medium deep tissue massage. Just like most of the reviews say the bottom of the foot is probably the hardest on you and they do make some inserts that you can put to make that a little less, I from one appreciated the strength on the feet and you can always wear thicker socks if it's just too hard for you or reposition yourself a bit. The chair is lacking on programming even though it's a very simple remote it's not as intuitive as you would like it to be since there are so few buttons on it you have to double and triple press a button to get to where you want to go but want you know what you're doing it's not a problem at all. The airbags on the wrist, arms, back, shoulders, legs and ankles are just absolutely amazing and you won't be disappointed. It has heat as well which is not bad. One thing I took s little leap of faith on was this chair has an L-track roller system on the back. the back rollers are the L shape that it actually doesn't recline but leans you all the way back in a seated position; that concerned me a little bit getting into the chair but after using the chair for sometime it actually feels really good and it's well worth getting the L track design for the extra reach under the butt as a trade off to having a minor reclinability of the chair.
All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this chairs to friends and family over and over again it's at the perfect price point to not break the bank but also give you all the features that you desire for what some may call and entry-level chair but this definitely has the features of a more advanced chair best value for the money out there.

The Chair: In a world of overpriced massage chairs, a great value really stands outs. So at half the price of mid-range massage chairs, the Apex Ultra is simply the best chair you can buy for the money. In terms of strength and intensity, it beats chairs that cost 3 times as much. If you want a really strong, deep tissue experience, this is the right chair for you. And the L-track reaches all the way to the top of your hamstrings, which sets it apart from most chairs. Another key feature is the really intense foot massage, with heat and calf rollers. Another great feature of this chair is that it doesn’t take up a whole room. It’s compact and only needs 6 inches of wall clearance. Bringing it into the house was no problem—we were even able to get it through our front door while it was still in the carton! Trade-offs: 1. The chair does not recline at the waist, which is a common limitation with L-track chairs. (But you can raise the footrest and recline the entire chair into zero-gravity). 2. There is no 3-D feature, again because of the L-track design. (But you can adjust the cushioning and shift your body position to get the rollers to dig in right where you want them. 3. There are only 6 automatic programs. (But you can do whatever you want in manual mode). Conclusion: This chair is strong, sturdy, and really gets to where it hurts. For the money, you can't go wrong.
The Seller: Consumers have many choices of where to buy. I did a lot of research and found the best guidance from Dr. Weidner. I gave him my priorities and told him about the many orthopedic problems I've had from arthritis, along with fibromyalgia. I hurt everywhere, all the time, and if I won the lotto I would have a massage therapist tend to me every day for a couple of hours. And I didn't want to spend a lot of money. With that input, Dr. Weidner concluded that I needed this particular chair. And he was right! The post-order follow-up has been great, and his commitment to absolute customer satisfaction is amazing. You will not find better dedication to making sure you are happy with your purchase--his warranty is also a bold extra perk that you won't find from any other retailer. Whatever you end up buying, buy it from Dr. Alan Weidner!

We've have the Apex Ultra massage chair now for a few months and have used it nearly every day. Overall we really like it and are glad we purchased it - especially from Dr. Alan Weidner who has been great every step of the way - including during our visit to his Utah showroom. This chair is feature packed for the price - and was especially appealing to us given that we're more on the small side (5'9" - 135 lbs) and this chair is probably the most narrow of them all. The calf rollers are awesome - it blows my mind that other chairs don't have them because they should. I'm also a big believer in the extended roller track - a chair without that feature is just old technology in my opinion.
So why 4 stars? I will say that I'm not thrilled with the remote in terms of the flexibility and user interface - it would also be nice to have more preset programs. And finally I don't get the sense that the body scan technology or the overall quality or nuance of the rollers is as good as many of the more expensive chairs.
Overall though - I can say that this is a great chair loaded with the latest technology and features at a very reasonable price.

I purchased the Apex massage chair from the new Cerritos office after spending several hours at the store testing all of the chairs to find the right one. Michael, at the store, was very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive in helping me find the right chair for me. They delivered it to my house all ready to go. I've had it for about a week now and love it. The best part for me is knowing that they have a retail store presence so I can call them if I ever have any questions (which I have already done once), and they provide free labor if I ever have any problems. I noticed other online companies don't offer much by way of help if you ever have any issues with the chair not working.
