[SCREEN TEXT: Remote Control]
Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to demonstrate the remote control of the Osaki OS-4000T. The remote control has a couple of cool little features that I think you’ll appreciate when I go over it with you. Anyway, we have what we call a pedestal remote. You have a pedestal that inserts in to the front of the armrest on the left-hand side of the chair, and then you have this pedestal coming up, and the remote control sits inside the pedestal. And there’s some chairs that use the pedestal, others that don’t, that have a pocket on the side of the chair, but for Osaki, they use a lot of the pedestal remotes. Anyway, you’ve got your big red power button right there. Over here, you can see, flashing in blue, the different programs that they have going on right now. So, you’ve got ‘Muscle Relief,’ ‘Tai’ program, ‘Stretch’ program, ‘Anti-Stress’ program, a ‘Demo’ program, which gives you a taste of all the different programs that the chair can do. Then, you have regional auto-programs, ‘Neck & Shoulder,’ ‘Back & Lumbar,’ ‘Full Air,’ and then this represents the foot rollers, and the Osaki 4000T does have foot rollers. They’re very gentle foot rollers, and very, very nice. So, you can push whatever program you want. Down here, you’ve got a timer, so you can change the amount of time that’s on display for the chair. So, if you want a 15-minute session, it defaults to that, but if you want to crank it up to 20, or 25, or 30, you can use the timer to do that.

Alan: Zero gravity is the ability of the chair to recline to a different position, to take stress and pressure off the low back. We have a separate video on that function, and then pause, you can stop the program midstream, if you have to get up and go to the restroom, and I’ve had to do that before, so I like how that works. You can adjust the position of the rollers when you’re in a manual program. You can adjust the recline of the chair back, and the recline or incline, of not just the chair back, but also the ottoman, and you can extend the ottoman out. It’s an electronic extender. These buttons are used to get the right length for your legs. You can adjust the speed of the rollers, the airbag intensity here, and if you bring this little baby down, these are all the manual settings, including the heat, but you can adjust – you can go in to the manual settings, and you can just have certain airbags in blue working; you can have certain parts of the chair working; you can have various modalities working, like ‘Kneading,’ ‘Tapping,’ ‘Clapping’ and ‘Rolling,’ ‘Swedish,’ ‘Shiatsu,’ whatnot – but you can adjust the width of the rollers, the speed of the rollers, and the strength of the airbags. You can adjust whether you want the massage to be in one spot in the low back, or a partial, which means a zone of the low back, but this is how the remote control works, or how it looks, and what the functions are of this remote control.

Alan: And you’ll see all the display right here, no matter what is going on with your spine when the program is on, it will give you a graphic of where the rollers are, what airbags are on, and over here, what modalities are being used in your program, and then one cool little feature that this has, is a little miniature remote. So, when you – and it magnetizes in to there, so it holds it in place – but when you take this out, you can recline the chair all the way back, and not have to reach up, and go to the remote, if you want to change something. You can do a lot of it right here. You can pause it; you can go to the zero-gravity positioning; you can adjust the speed of the rollers; the airbag intensity; you can extend the feet, and you can adjust the positioning of the chair here. It is a little mini remote, it comes with a battery inside, and when you pull the little sheath out, that protects the battery, it’ll start working right away, and you can hold that in your hand when you recline. So, that is the remote control of the Osaki OS-4000T, and I hope you found this video helpful.
