TP-Pro 8400

I have been carrying Osaki massage chairs for a few years now and they have become one of our best selling categories of chairs. In other words, I sell a lot of the Osaki massage chairs. Well, you may or may not know that Osaki and Titan chairs are both owned by the same company and are manufactured in many of the same factories. I have not carried Titan chairs before because of the lower grade components and the fact that many of their models were copies of some of the Osaki chairs I was already carrying.

A month or so ago, I was approached by the folks at Osaki/Titan to see if I would consider carrying a couple of new Titan models that they wanted to distribute through a few select retailers. They are quite high on these two chairs because they are affordable models that have features that can normally only be found on more expensive models. I checked them out and decided to carry them. You can check them out on our website. Although I haven’t sat on either of them yet, I am excited to see the rich feature-sets for the low price points.

Here is a breakdown of the two new models and their features:

Titan TP-Pro 8300

1. 33″ Roller Track
Most chairs have roller tracks that max out at 31″. A 33″ roller track means that the massage rollers will hit lower in the back and, perhaps, a little higher in the neck region.

2. Mechanical Foot Rollers
This feature is all the rage right now in the massage chair industry. Most chairs coming out of China today have these.

3. 6 Back Rollers
We all know about quad (4) rollers, which is pretty typical in the vast majority of massage chairs. But, now here is a chair that has 6 rollers! I’ve never heard of it before, but am quite excited to see how it feels.

4. Space Saving Technology

Another great feature that has become quite popular as of late. Most chairs are getting so big nowadays that a space saving feature is a great way to minimize the foot print of the chair.

5. Fits 4’10” – 6’4″
I included this because most chairs that cater to tall people usually have a bottom limit of at least 5′. This chair can handle the shorter 4’10” frame as well as the 6’4″ frame. Now, I have to see someone sit in it to be sure because I have found, in the past, that many chairs that state lower body frame sizing actually don’t do a very good job at it in reality.

6. Zero Gravity
The seat tilts at a 30 degree angle and the chair back and seat articulate at a 120 degree angle when zero gravity is deployed.

Titan TP-Pro 8400

1.  L-Track
The only other name-brand chair that has an extended roller track of 50″ is the Infinity Iyashi (and Riage) and that chair retails for over $5K. Here is a new chair that has that feature for under $3K.

This chair fits a body frame slightly taller than the TP-Pro 8300…6’5″ tall. The shorter size limit is the same.
