We haven’t been able to do much physical activities with the pandemic and hot weather, and been feeling exhausted and restless. We bought the Daiwa Pegasus 2 Smart Massage Chair and it’s been incredible to get a massage daily. There are a lot of customization for types and strengths of the massages, and it’s great to choose the ones needed based on what I need. This chair really goes a great upper body massage in particular. The whole purchasing experience was very pleasant. We visited the store and probably sat on every chair which took about an hour. Shawn was extremely kind and helped us understand the unique features of different models they have on the floor. I am so glad that we didn’t just buy one from the internet (which we were planning to do) but actually sat on multiple ones to compare to find the one that fits us the best.

I purchased the Daiwa Pegasus 2 Smart Massage Chair and couldn’t be happier. Like my cousin said “man that thing will take you to the moon”. I purchased this from Massage Chair Relief for several reasons, one they only carry top of the line models that are proven to work super good and not break down. They have and excellent delivery and set up protocol, free chair moving, free return shipping and the biggest one for me was free labor for the life of the chair. I couldn’t buy a chair that I thought might break and then try to find someone to fix or just move it the garage and let it sit. I bought a chair from an American Company with their corporate headquarters in Los Angeles which isn’t far from me and I got a 5 year warranty. This is where it gets better I used my CITI card and they offered an additional 2 year warranty! that would be huge thanks to Dominic who works in the showroom in Cerritos. Now let talk about the chair itself. There are kinds of a lot of options to use on the remote but after you use it a few times I recommend going back and watching the youtube video it will help you learn some things that you might have not experienced. I basically like all of the auto programs just pick one and relax for 20 minutes. The massage itself is so amazing the chair scans your body and then begins working and the massage is amazing its like have three or four people massage your whole body. I started off with the standard settings and found that I like it a little softer so I used the 3D button to get it to a 1 or 2 and I can tell that over that past couple of months my back is getting stronger just from using the massage chair. This chair works out the kinks and tense areas and will make you feel terrific. On the weekends I do a 20 minute session just before I take a nap what a great combo and a good nap. I really like to run three sessions for a total of 60 minutes and I am almost asleep before I even get out of the chair. I highly recommend a massage chair for anyone even my wife and I love ours and sometimes take turns between 20 minute sessions while watching a movie. Oh I forgot to mention one of my favorite parts the glutes. If you ever had a glute massage they are terrific but its a little uncomfortable asking for one of those. I had one where the masseuse used her elbow to get a deep tissue massage and that was great. But the chair I have is 3D and the rollers go down to your lower body and really hit the glutes and all of the pockets in this area and there is no embarrassment whatsoever. What is even better the chair does a shiatsu massage to that you cant get any where and this is one of my favorite things. In closing I love the chair and I have extended warranty and free labor for life thanks Massage Chair Relief.

I bought this chair for my wife as a Christmas present and she absolutely LOVES it. I had a feeling she would and the chair itself is amazing, however the service of Massage-chair-relief was even better. They answered every question I had, and I had a million, and walked me through so many different chairs that I feel like a pro now. The delivery process was smooth and the ultimate reason I chose them to purchase from was their lifetime warranty on Labor. My biggest fear about buying a chair was that it would stop working after a year and then just sit in my house. With the lifetime labor warranty, I won’t fear calling to have things fixed “if” they do fail after years of use. Great chair but even better company and service!

We purchased the Pegasus 2 Smart. Alan was very helpful, he showed us several chairs, answered all our questions and just went out of his way to help. We have been very happy with the chair, we use it every day and have enjoyed the different programs. We have several favorites. We couldn’t be happier.

I received the Pegasus 2 a little more than two weeks ago. I am 51 years old, 6’4”, 240 pounds on a good day and have never owned a massage chair before (in fact, I have never used one before). The pandemic caused me to examine how I could adapt my health regime in a socially responsible way. Previously, I had regularly used masseurs to help my body recover from training and general wear and tear. I wanted to share my initial feedback on the chair after using it for the first 2 weeks.

First, I assembled the chair on my own after taking delivery. The official advice is for two people to assemble the chair and that would have been easier, but with a little patience, I managed to complete the assembly in 2 hours.

My headline feedback is, “I really like the chair so far.” I would recommend it to friends, family and other interested people. What I cannot say with my endorsement is how the Pegasus 2 compares to other chairs in its class, but as an investment in your physical health and a desire to have a chair which a large-ish person can tailor to their desired massage whims, this chair must be difficult to beat.

The following is some specific criticism of the chair that I hope aids the reader in making his/her decision about purchasing the Pegasus 2. First, the remote attached to the chair is very intuitive and easy to use; it is the primary way I interact with and direct the chair. There is also an app you may download to a device of your choosing and I have used it as well. The app does not offer the full options that the chair has, but it is good. There is also voice activated controls which respond to your voice commands. I find this to not always work as I would expect and despite not saying “Hello Daiwa”, I have had the chair respond to some television programming I had playing in the background which effectively altered the massage program and then shut the chair off mid-massage. It is easy to disable the voice activation and it is not a real detraction from my overall view of the chair’s abilities, but if you want to really have a hands-free chair, I would look at this very carefully before buying this chair. Second, the chair has a body-scan that it performs at the initiation of every massage. I have so far found that this body scan works about 90% of the time. For the other 10% (and I am only speaking about my legs; for my upper body the scan has been 100% accurate so far). I have found that the chair wants me in a tucked position until I use the remote control to make the adjustments that position my body properly for the massage I have chosen – I also want to say this only occurs on a couple of the pre-programmed massages only and does not occur randomly. Given the easy ability to adjust the ottoman, this is not a huge distraction for me and after I make the necessary adjustments at the outset of the massage, I do not need to access the remote again. Third, while I do not know what is on offer from other chairs as far as the pre-programmed massages, I can say that I am very pleased with the ones that come with the Pegasus 2. There are reviving massages, relaxing massages, deep tissue massages, and so on. This brings me nicely on to the fourth feature I want to call out in this review – the manual massage features. This really does offer the user a lot of flexibility. All of the chairs features may be accessed for a person who wants to tailor their massage beyond what is on offer in the 9 pre-programmed offerings and the 3 3-D massages. You may adjust the pressure of the airbags, the speed of the tapping, the speed of the rollers, the intensity – it all there and adjustable to the user’s desire. Lastly, I want to mention that the Bluetooth works well and the speaker quality is great.

Overall, I have been really pleased with my chair. It has addressed the physical concerns I was having as I was sitting at home for long periods working at a table and could feel my back was stiffening and my body complaining. Those issues are no more since I have had the chair. My intention is to update this review each year to share anything additional that I think is pertinent to know about the chair and whether or not to consider buying it. In closing, i am happy to speak to anyone who is seriously interested in buying the chair from the Massage Chair Relief Folks. Dr. Weidner has my phone number or you can reach out by e-mail.

3D L-Track Roller Mechanism

The Daiwa Pegasus 2 Smart massage chair comes 3D rollers, giving you the ability to adjust the depth of the roller massage, making your massage more or less intense. The roller track on this L-track is 49” long and extends from the top of your neck down to the top of your hamstrings.

Voice-Activated

Speak one of the chair’s commands (found in the owner’s manual) and see how the chair responds! Start talking with “Hello, Daiwa” and the chair will follow your commands to do what you want it to do…in English or Chinese!

Calf & Foot Massage

Not only does the Pegasus 2 Smart chair have mechanical calf and foot rollers, it also uses airbags that move in a wave-like motion to enhance the foot and calf massage experience. This makes entire lower body massage experience second to none!

ShoulderFit Technology

Different people have different body types. Some have broad shoulders, others have narrow shoulders. The Pegasus 2 Smart chair allows you the adjust the width of the shoulder massage up to 6” (from 26” to 32”) so that people of all body types can feel comfortable in this chair.

Wall Hugger

The Pegasus 2 Smart chair is a space-saver chair, which means you can place the chair very close to the wall so save space in your room. As a matter of fact, the Pegasus 2 only needs to be 0.25” from any wall.

Rocking Rotation Technology

If you love the soothing feeling of a rocking chair, you will love the rocking technology of the Pegasus 2. This rocking feature is deployed in certain programs or alone…either way you are going to feel relaxed and stress-free once the rocking begins.

BlueTooth Technology with Stereo Speakers

Pair your phone or device to your new chair and now you can listen to your playlist music or favorite podcast while sitting in your massage chair.

App & Charging Station

A USB port at the front of the chair will allow you to charge your phone or device while you download the chair’s app. You can use the app as a remote control from your phone or device. With the app you can activate the manual and auto programs, while also controlling the massage type and intensity.

Bonus Foot & Back Pads

Feet can tend to be very sensitive for a lot of people. Daiwa will include foot pads to slip under your feet to make the massage less intense, if desired. You will also get a pad to use behind your back should the rollers still be too intense even at the lowest 3D setting.
