Children can experience as much or more stress as adults during the school year. Parents can be good at bully prevention, and related issues, to the point of intervening more than may be helpful at any upset. More attention might well be focused on dealing with stress, as this is not something that can ever be completely avoided in life, then trying to prevent it all for them. Some good ways to do this are to teach deep breathing techniques, and to help find a stress-free zone for the child.
