Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I want to introduce you to a new model that we’re carrying called the Lavita. It’s from a company called uKnead, U-K-N-E-A-D, and it’s a new line that we just started carrying within the last few months, and the uKnead Lavita is another L-track chair, and we like this chair a lot. It’s kind of more of a moderate intensity L-track chair, at a nice price point, and it’s got some pretty interesting features that I want to highlight to you. Number one is, the chair comes fully assembled, so it’s a big box, but you don’t have to put anything together. The armrests are already attached, the ottoman’s already attached. It’s a nice chair for ease of getting started with. Now, you’re going to need some help lifting it in to whatever room you want it, or bringing it in your house. So, you may want to get the white-glove delivery to have that done for you, but if you’ve got some muscle at the house, like sons, like I have, or a husband with big muscles, or a wife with big muscles, go ahead and get that chair, move that in yourself, and save the money on the white glove, but the white glove would be helpful. Anyway, the other thing about this chair is that it has an L-track, which I mentioned earlier on, which means that the rollers go down the back, and then under the seat.

Alan: It also has foot rollers in it, and you’ll notice that the foot-massage component is a housing, similar to the Infinity Iyashi, where the feet go inside, and it kind of holds the foot a little bit more, it kind of tractions the feet a little bit more during some of the programs, for a better foot massage, maybe a better stretch. But it kind of has a better foot-tractioning ability, when it’s surrounded by airbags, by the encasing. It also has arm airbags, shoulder airbags, you’ve got a calf airbags, you’ve got waist airbags. You do not have any thigh airbags, or hip airbags on this one. And another thing that this chair comes with, which we really like is that it has a lot of extra padding, so if the chair is not intense enough, you can remove the neck pillow, you can remove this neck pad. And it also comes with a lumbar pad, that zips on underneath this pad, and if it’s too intense, or not intense enough, you can take off this lumbar pad, and you can get a stronger low-back massage. And it also has an extra seat pad, which you can take out, it’s Velcroed under, in there. And sometimes we put it on the top, like this, if a customer comes in, and it’s too intense on the butt, we can put this on the top, and fold this flap underneath it like that, and that allows us to offer a little bit more padding, if the L-track is too intense for some people. So, it comes with some extra padding, which is really nice for comfort levels, because a lot of these L-track chairs do not have 3D rollers. You cannot adjust the intensity of the rollers, what you see is what you get, so the way that you can adjust the intensity, is through padding. On a lot of chairs, it doesn’t have padding, so you use a throw blanket, or a pillow, or something like that.

Alan: Well, this chair comes with ample padding to help you dampen that intensity, if it’s too much for you, and that way, you can accommodate different people in your family. The chair comes in this chocolate, mocha color, a brown color, it also comes in a black color. It’s priced at $3695 at the time of this recording. I believe it has four main, primary programs. It has manual settings, of course, and it has zero-gravity settings. It has a couple of zero-gravity settings. It’s a very easy remote control to use. The remote control sits in a little pocket on the side here, and it’s a very simple user interface. And on another video called ‘First-Time Use of the uKnead Lavita,’ I’ll show you how to get started on this chair, it’s very, very easy to get started, and to get a massage. But this is a new chair that we just started carrying, and we’re very happy with it. We’ve already sold a number of them, because of the way it feels, and the way it hits the body, the comfort level of the chair. And here’s the thing, a lot of the chairs – well, all the chairs will have similar features – but some chairs just fit you right, it just feels right. So, it’s important to sit in a chair, I feel, to really know if this chair is right for you. On paper, it will look good, compared to other chairs, and they’ll all have very similar features, but when you sit in it, it’ll just fit you right when you sit in it, and this is one of those chairs that does feel quite good when you sit in it.
