[SCREEN TEXT: Introduction]
Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to introduce you to the brand new Infinity Overture massage chair. You can tell from the look of it that it has some beautiful color selections. This is the champagne and brown, very nice exterior, very nice build as well. You can feel the quality of the material, and the quality of the stitching.

Alan: This chair has the same silhouette as the Infinity Presidential, which is also another very popular chair from Infinity. It has, you’ll notice, it has the encased foot massage, so if you’ve got feet that are bigger than size 13, it might be a little tight for you, but it’s got a very nice toe airbag that also kind of works in conjunction with the side airbags, and the foot rollers underneath. So, it does have foot rollers. You can see from the design, it’s a two tone on the side here, and of course, it comes in other colors as well, like I think, black, and well, I’m not even going to say because I can’t remember the colors right offhand. Now there’s, this chair comes with calf rollers, it also has airbags that when they inflate on the calves they oscillate, and move up and down, that is a nice feature of this chair as well. So, when you sit in this chair, and turn on a program, you’re going to really love the overall calf-and-foot massage. Now, one thing that’s kind of unique to this chair, that we don’t see a lot of, is that it has a wireless remote control, and with the wireless remote control, is included a patch cord with a USB connection, and the other end, it goes in to the remote control.

Alan: So, you can charge the remote control, and there is a USB port on the inside of the right armrest, where you can plug that cord in and charge your remote control, and we also found that it will charge your phone. So, if you have a Droid or an Apple phone, you can plug in with your – you can’t, of course, you can’t use this with – this cord does not fit in an Apple device, I’m not sure about a Droid device, but you can plug in your regular charge cord, or charging cord, in to the USB port and then plug it in to your phone, and it’ll charge your phone. This also has, what they call – well, they call this, I don’t know what they call it – but I call it quick keys. It’s like a mini-remote control embedded in to the right armrest, and it has some basic functions on it, like power – and you can kind of go through four of the – it has a number of programs, but there’s four of them that you can kind of scroll through, and it also has some body positioning, and a stop button. So, that’s for ease of use, if you just want to get in the chair, and push one button, and then get started, you’re good to go. This chair also has chromotherapy on the side. I don’t know if you can see it with the – the lights aren’t on now, but this little emblem right there, and the Infinity logo light up at night – or well, they light up when the chair is on, but you can really see it at night, and it goes through a number of different colors. They call it chromotherapy, because the idea is that the lights will help soothe you or create whatever feeling that you want to have. I don’t know if there’s much to that, with just a few little letters and a little round emblem, but anyway, that’s called chromotherapy, and a lot of chairs have it nowadays.

Alan: This chair also has hip bags, hip airbags, which you don’t see on a lot of L-tracks. This is an L-track – well, you know what, let’s talk about that, but L-tracks are – you know, typical massage chairs have an S-track, where it follows the shape of the spine, down to the back, an L-track continues on underneath the buttock, so that you can get a good glute and piriformis massage. Well, the Overture is a J-track, so the rollers come down your back, just like the S, following the S-shape of the spine, but then rather than going right underneath the seat, it comes down at a 45-degree angle, and I’ve done a video about this, that talks about those differences, but the advantage is – OK, a traditional L-track will not give you a very good stretch, because it cannot flatten out the chair to give you the stretch that an S-track chair can give you – an S-track can completely go horizontal, and the legs drop down, the shoulders are pinned back, and it arches you. You can’t do that in an L-track, because the physical shape of the track is an L, and you can’t flatten out an L. Well, a J-track is not a pure L, it’s more of a J, they call it a J, because it goes down at a 45-degree angle, instead of going underneath the butt at a 90-degree angle. So, this chair can actually flatten out, not to a complete horizontal, but a lot closer than a true L-track, and you can get a good stretch. This, I would say this chair probably has the best stretch program of any L-track variant out there, I really, really like the stretch program. Anyway, so that’s what this chair is, it has a J-track. Also, it has Bluetooth connectivity, so you can pair your phone, or your device with the chair, and then play your music, or whatever playlist, over the speakers of the chair.

Alan: It also has an air ionizer, and maybe you can bring the camera in, and you can see the little, it’s like a little flower design here on the side, and through this, air kind of gets blown out, and the idea is, it’s called an ionizer, because the air that comes out of there attaches to the pollutants in the air around your face, at it kind of cleans the air around your face. That’s the idea, I don’t know exactly how the science works, and I haven’t seen anything to show you how it actually works, but that’s what it claims to do. And OK, so you’ve got the 3D L-track so you can adjust the depth of the rollers to make it stronger or weaker. Let’s see, it comes with a one-year, parts-and-labor warranty, and with three years of parts, and five years of structure. The airbags, it has sequential airbag inflation, so it’s not just one big airbag compressing on your arms. In the arms, you have sequential, so it goes up and down the arms, and there’s also these little rubber knobules, and some of the chairs have these rubber knobules on the inside of the armrests to hold the arm in place, because sometimes the airbags will squeeze, and it kind of squirt your arm out. Well, these knobules will hold them in place. The hip airbags, I was alluding to earlier, traditionally, typically, not traditionally, but typically, you don’t see a lot of hip airbags with the L-tracks, or the J-tracks, because the roller does all the work. You don’t really need much more, but this chair has hip airbags that kind of work to hold your hips in place while the rollers go up and down your back, and that’s kind of the idea of the shoulder airbags as well.

Alan: They kind of hold you in place while the rollers go up and down your back, and to kind of traction your spine so that the rollers can dig a little bit deeper, but I think that’s about it on this chair. Yeah, I don’t remember all the colors of it, but you can go on the website, and take a look at the colors, but it’s a very nice chair. It’s got a solid roller system. I liked the roller system when I sat in it. I felt like it was a very well-built, good quality massage experience on this chair, and it’s a relatively quiet chair too. It’s not making a ton of hissing sounds like the typical airbag inflation does in a lot of chairs. Anyway, this is the Infinity Overture massage chair.
