Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to give you an introduction to the new Apex Ultra massage chair. Now, the Apex Ultra is a unique chair, because it’s priced below $3000, but it’s just rich with features, including an extended roller track, calf rollers, airbags galore, foot rollers, and a very firm neck massage, but let’s go through the general introduction of the chair. The chair is a narrow chair, and once you set it up, you’ll be able to fit it through almost any door. It’s got a very simple remote control, but the start button, the on-off button, is at the very top. It took me about 10 minutes to figure that out, when I first had the chair, because I was looking on the face of the remote. It wasn’t there, it was at the top, and you can see the button flashing. This chair also has arm airbags on the side, and maybe what I’ll do is sit down in – and when you’re not using the remote, by the way, you just put the remote inside the armrest like that – but when I’m sitting in the chair, you can get the arms in like this, they kind of go in from the top down. And so, your hands don’t go in like this, like a lot of the other chairs, it goes up and down like this, and it’s got a good hand-and-palm massage here. It has an entire section, just for that, and then, of course, wrist and forearm here. When you’re not using it, you can just push them in like that.

Alan: Also, you’ve got shoulder airbags, which inflate from the outside, to push the shoulders back, so it’s more of a posture kind of a correction thing, but there’s something kind of cool about these shoulder airbags, they can be adjusted. So, if you got a thin body, you can move them all the way in, or you can bring them out, so they got two or three settings in, and then bring it back out again. So, out, one setting in, two settings in, push it a third time, and bring it back, so you can adjust the width for people that have a smaller frame, like typically a woman will have a narrower shoulder, a man will be more broad. Also, you’ve got this neck pillow, you can lift this up and over the back, and you’ve got a very good, aggressive neck massage on this chair. It also has the extended roller, so you’ve got the rollers coming down the back, following the S-track of the curve of the spine, and then it comes underneath the seat, and this, I think, I believe it extends to about 51 inches total, so it’ll massage your glutes, your piriformis, and the top of your hamstrings. You’ve also got calf-and-foot airbags, but you’ve got rollers down here on the feet, and you’ve got rollers on the back of the calves, right here. It’s hard to see, because it’s black, but there’s three little knobs there that rotate, and so you get a calf massage as well. You’ll see here that there’s a little 3.5-millimeter jack for your iPod, or any other phone, or smartphone, with speakers up here on either side of the shoulders. So, you’ve got a plug-in there, you can adjust your music from your phone, and you’ve got the speakers here by your ears to listen to it, and I think that’s probably about it.

Alan: It comes in a black, it comes in the gray, it comes in a brown, a very nice chair. It’s a smaller, more compact chair, but a great, great bang for the buck at $2995. That is an intro to the – oh, I just want to make sure I’ve – oh, it has zero gravity on this chair as well. As a matter of fact, it has three different settings of zero gravity. So, when you push the button once, it’ll go back to an initial zero-gravity position, twice, three times. It also has a space-saver feature, so you can put this thing right up against the wall. I think we’ve got it about an inch-and-a-half away from the wall, and you don’t have to worry about a waste of space. So, that is the Apex Ultra massage chair.
