Dr. Matt McClanahan is taking on a brave new approach to back pain. The doctor explains in his report that the brain sometimes fills in the gaps creating an illusion of sorts for the physical body. For instance, one may feel angry, sad or upset however it is a feeling in the brain and cannot actually be “felt” by the human body. In some patients this doctor believes that is the case with back pain however many who suffer from real physical damage may actually disagree.
