Here’s something I want you to be aware of. I’ve brought this up before—months ago we talked about buying a pre-owned chair. If you’re buying a pre-owned chair from a private seller on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or eBay, the warranty will not transfer to the new owner.
The message doesn’t always get out because people advertising their chairs for sale on those platforms often claim they still have a certain amount of warranty left. The problem is, if you buy one of those chairs and something goes wrong, you may be under the impression that warranty coverage remains—but it doesn’t. There is no transferable warranty from a private seller.
The only time you can get a transferred warranty on a pre-owned chair is through an authorized dealer. For example, if we receive a returned chair and resell it as pre-owned, we can transfer the remaining warranty because we are authorized dealers.
I hope you found this video helpful. I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief, and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye-bye.
