Here’s my one-minute introduction to the Osaki X-Rest—and also the Osaki Master.
The main difference between the Master and the X-Rest is this hood. The Master does not have it, while the X-Rest does.
What makes these chairs truly unique is the shoulder massage mechanism. They use airbags that push down on your shoulders, along with small massage nodes in the back of the chair. These are not traditional roller balls like most massage chairs—they are firm knobs that work deeply into your shoulders and the back of your neck.
In addition to that, there is another set of dual rollers that travel up and down your spine. So, you have the spinal rollers combined with these shoulder massage nodes, creating a very distinctive massage experience.
The airbags compress the shoulders while the nodes work into the muscles, and it’s the only chair we’ve seen that offers this type of shoulder massage. That is the standout feature of these chairs.
I should also mention that this chair includes calf rollers, foot rollers, and a very strong foot and calf massage. It does have a closed-toe ottoman, so if you wear a size 13 shoe or larger, this chair may not be the best fit for you.
You also get a remote control, quick-access keys, Bluetooth, a good warranty, and a charging plate for your device.
This is the Osaki Master and the Osaki X-Rest.
