You’ll find plenty of people willing to share their opinions about massage chairs—whether they’ve sat in them, owned them, or sell them. But those opinions only matter to a certain extent. What really matters is how the chair feels to you and how well it fits your body.
In our showrooms, we carry a wide range of chairs—typically 15 to 20 models—ranging in price from about $3,500 to $15,000. You might assume that the most expensive chair will feel the best, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes, a less expensive chair may actually provide a better fit and feel for your body.
So, while it’s fine to consider someone else’s opinion, don’t let a single opinion determine your decision.
If you have the opportunity to try a chair in person, I strongly recommend it. That’s always the best approach when shopping for a massage chair. However, if you’re buying sight unseen—based solely on someone else’s opinion or on marketing and advertising you’ve seen online—be very cautious.
A single opinion may not reflect what feels right for you. And if you purchase a chair without trying it first, you may end up wanting to return it—only to discover the challenges and complications that can come with returning a large item like a massage chair.
So, just remember: one person’s opinion—whether they’ve tried one chair or a hundred—is still just their opinion. It doesn’t become your experience until you’ve tried the chair yourself.
