Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to show you how the arm airbags work on the Infinity Escape massage chair. Now, the arm airbags on the Infinity Escape will compress the wrist and the forearm. Now, some chairs have a sequential inflation, so there’s multiple air bladders, and so it inflates proximally, and then distally. Well, on the Infinity Escape, it’s one long bladder, it’s like a long, like in the shape of a sausage, that compresses the entire forearm and wrist, and they never inflate both arms at the same time. They’ll inflate one side, then the other. Here’s the arm, on one side. This is the left-arm airbag, you can see my fingers are stuck in there, and you can see the length of the arm massage, the length of the airbag, goes the entire length of the arm and wrist, and it’ll inflate, and then deflate, inflate, deflate, on one side.

Alan: So, it’s kind of like a staggered inflation, but it’s one airbag inflating and deflating at the same time. Then, we go over to the other side. Now, that one just ended, now this one inflates, you see, and so now you’re going to have inflation on the right arm. And this will allow – the reason they inflate two, not at the same time, but at different times, is because the – here’s the thing, it’s more of a safety issue. If the chair was all of a sudden, or if all of a sudden, you had to get out of the chair in an emergency, and both your arms are compressed – and it’s a pretty heavy compression, it’s not light, it’s not like it’s something that is easy to remove the arms from the airbag mechanism – so if you have an emergency, and you have to get out of the chair right away, you’ve got one hand free to grab the remote.

Alan: If you’ve got both arms pinned down, it can be difficult at times, to get out of some massage chairs, this chair included. Now, you can adjust the intensity of the airbags, so if it’s squeezing too hard on your forearm, or if you want it to squeeze more, you can adjust the intensity. I think it’s a one through five level, and it almost always defaults to the middle, which is a three on this chair, and but you can make it more or less intense, for those of you that want more or less compression from the airbags. So, that describes the arm-airbag compression massage of the Infinity Escape massage chair. If you found this video helpful, please feel free to thumbs up ‘Like’ us on our YouTube video.
