A recent survey conducted by the Harvard Business Review of 740 leaders found that 84 percent of their respondents suffered from chronic stress. The survey also found that the affected leaders suffered from weaker job performance as a result of their condition. Given the pervasive nature of the issue, anyone in a leadership position, regardless of the industry they were can, would likely benefit from participating in stress fighting activities like regular aerobic exercise, using adult coloring books and spending an hour or so every week in a massage chair.
