TP-Pro AlpineAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com.’ Today we’re going to talk about the zero-gravity feature of the Titan TP-Pro Alpine massage chair. Now, zero gravity, if you remember from any of the other videos I’ve talked about this topic, meaning that the seat tilts up at a 30-degree angle, and traditionally, a 120-degree angle articulation between the chair back, and the seat. Well, we’re going to see how this works on the Alpine. Now, on these extended roller chairs, like the Alpine, and like the Titan 8400, and like the Infinity Iyashi, because the roller track goes down the back, and under the seat, it is one fixed unit. So, traditionally, the chair will move in to a zero-gravity position – oh, also the ZeroG 4.0 from Human Touch, even though it’s not an extended track chair, it is also a zero-g chair, a fixed zero-g chair – and the chair back and the seat are fixed in the same position.

Alan: So, when you recline, the whole chair kind of scoops under in to the zero-gravity position, and we will see that with this chair. First of all, I want to show you, on the remote control, where the button is, on the remote control. It does not say ‘Zero Gravity,’ it says ‘Relax Position,’ and it’s highlighted in blue. Can you focus in on that? It’s the ‘Relax Position,’ it’s the only button on the remote control that’s a different color, and when we push that, you’ll see – once you’ve turned on the chair, then you can push the ‘Relaxed Position’ button – and you’ll see now, when I push this button, you can see the chair extending in to a zero-gravity position, and you’ll notice, also, that the ottoman is coming up, the chair back reclines. The ottoman on this one extends out, when you press the zero gravity, the whole ottoman extends out to accommodate a taller leg, and then it’ll retract, and when you are at the right length, you push your toes forward, and it’ll stop the regression of the – or the retraction of the ottoman – but that is the zero-gravity position.

Alan: You see the seat tilted, you see the chair back and the seat articulating, this looks to be a little bit more than 120-degree angle, but this is the zero-gravity position for this chair. And then, of course, when you’re done, you can push that button again, or push the power button, and it’ll bring the chair back up to a neutral position, but that is how the zero gravity looks, and feels, on the Titan TP-Pro Alpine massage chair.
