If you’ve heard of all of the studies about “text neck”, this situation is very similar. One thing to consider however is the amount of time spent at once using a tablet.
With a smartphone, you’re looking down in small portions, writing something then looking back up. With tablets, you’re more inclined to read or watch something, which means your head is bent over for prolonged amounts of time, which can cause severe damage to your neck!
