Study Finds Chronic Pain Sufferers Have High Risk Factor for Pain Reliever Dependency

 

A recent study found that people who suffer from chronic pain have a high likelihood of becoming dependent on over-the-counter pain medication. Since pain reliever abuse can cause ulcers and liver damage, it’s recommended that those who live with chronic pain use non-medicinal techniques such as massage or yoga to treat their condition.
