If you feel like you’re suffering from pain every day of your life, you’re not the only one. A recent study showed that 39 million people in the United States, that’s 19%, have persistent pain which affects them on a daily basis. The study however, concludes that it is an indicator of unmet medical needs for pain management in the general population. Pain can lead to anxiety and depression, however pain medications may have negative outcomes as well.
