Even with the powerful pressure to perform academically, the stress generated by increasingly extensive homework assignments and the new anxiety of keeping up with social media, a recent WebMD survey recently found that most parents are actually unaware of the level of stress their teenage children are actually under. Since stress can have a significant negative impact on the mental and physical development of teens, parents should endeavor to make sure their teens are getting enough sleep, taking time out to relax and sticking to a healthy diet.
