Transcript of Video Titled “Zero Gravity – Osaki OS-3D Pro Cyber Massage Chair”

Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ and today I’m going to demonstrate to you the zero-gravity feature of the new OS-3D Pro Cyber massage chair from Osaki. Now, this chair has two different zero-gravity settings on it. I’ve already turned the chair on, but on the remote control there’s a button for ‘Zero G,’ and all you have to do is push it, and you’ll see the chair default in to the typical zero-gravity position, which is a 30-degree tilt to the seat, and a 120-degree articulation between the seat and the chair back, and of course, the ottoman comes up. Some people feel that a true zero-gravity chair will have the ottoman lifting the feet above the heart, and you can do this with this. The default position does not do that necessarily, but you can raise the ottoman while you’re in this position. So, if you’ll come over here Carol, you’ll see that we’ve got a tilt on the seat, a 30-degree tilt, so it’s not horizontal.

Alan: Now, I’m going to push the zero-gravity button again, and what’s going to happen this time, is we’re going to see the chair recline even further. The seat is tilting up, and you’ll see the chair recline to almost horizontal. This is not a true zero-gravity position, but they call it a second zero-gravity position, and you’ll see also, the legs have been lifted up well above the heart, so this is the second position. Some people like to have that fully reclined feeling, it almost feels like you’re inverted, and you’re going upside down to decompress the spine, and take pressure off the spine. The whole essence of zero gravity is to tilt that seat up, so that you’re – it’s designed to kind of equally distribute the weight of your body – so that you’re not getting everything down on the low back. If you’re sitting up straight or sitting on a horizontal seat, weight tends to settle down on the low back, so as soon as we tilt the seat up, it kind of evens out that weight distribution.
