After years of thought and months of planning, I am so excited to announce that we are opening a second showroom…this one in Southern California!!

On Tuesday of this week, I signed the lease for the retail space at 19117 Bloomfield Avenue in Cerritos, California. You can see from the picture on the left how formal the signing was! Yes, that’s me in shorts and a golf shirt signing the lease on a concrete bench outside of the store. LOL.

We are beginning the remodel next week and I couldn’t be more excited about it. The shopping center within which it is located is called Cerritos Village. It is a wonderful center located on the corner of South and Bloomfield in a beautiful residential neighborhood. If you are familiar with the area, you know that South street is a very busy street in Cerritos with great access from all surrounding freeways, most notably the 605, I-5, and 91 freeways at the southern end of LA county.

Our new space should be open towards the end of September/beginning of October. I can say for sure that we will have the following models on the floor when we open:

• Luraco iRobotics 7
• Inada DreamWave, Yume, and Flex 3S
• Infinity IT-8500 and Iyashi
• Titan Alpine
• Apex Ultra
• Panasonic MA73
• Human Touch ZeroG 4.0
• Ogawa Active

We will have room for up to 20 models, but I am still undecided on the remaining models. We will also have some handheld and foot massagers in this store. In our Salt Lake showroom we only have room for 16 models and we don’t display or sell any handheld or foot massagers in that store.

This space is wider and will also have a longer showroom than the SLC store. I am excited about the extra space. With the narrowness of our SLC store, it is a little tough to move around with more than one customer in the showroom. The new store will alleviate that issue.

We have already hired our first massage chair consultant for this location. His name is Michael Nguyen and has health care expertise as well as previous furniture sales experience. He has actually been in the IT industry for the last number of years, but is coming on board to get back into the health field. He has a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from Baylo University, so he will be able to add considerable depth into any health discussions, including the physiological benefits of massage chairs. Not to mention the fact that he is a great guy and fine individual who will complement what we have built over the last 10+ years. I am very excited to work with Michael!
