In Jan Estrellado’s article on childhood anxiety, she addresses the likelihood of children of teenage years to suffer from anxiety. She also states that although it is very common in this age group very little are treated for their disorder. She then proceeds to describe what anxiety commonly looks like amongst children such as them being withdrawn from activities with other children or having sleeping problems. She then talks about addressing the issue by going to a doctor and taking on small exercises to clear the mind when anxious such as placing your mind in happy thoughts.
