A couple of years ago we began carrying a new brand of massage chairs, Johnson Wellness. The thing I liked about those chairs then was that they were designed by ex-Inada, Panasonic, and Fujiiryoki engineers and built in Taiwan. Shortly after we began carrying them, they changed their strategy and began selling their chairs under the labels of other manufacturers, like Human Touch (the Navitas Sleep, one of my favorites) and Osaki Titan (the Apex Regent). When they did this, we were asked to take down their chairs from our site, which we did, so that their chairs could just be sold under the other labels. Recently, Johnson Wellness has gone back to selling their chairs again under their own name. They are still Japanese designed and engineered but now are being built in Shanghai, China.

We just recently re-added their three models to our site, the J5600, J5800, and J6800, if you’d like to check them out.

However, Johnson also has introduced two other lines/brands of massage chairs: Inner Balance Wellness and Synca. Inner Balance has a model known as the Jin, which is similar to the uKnead Lavita, and the Synca line has a model called the Circ, which is reminiscent of the iJoy chairs from Human Touch, but with an L-track roller system. We should have those brands and models up on the site very soon.

I’m not sure which models we’ll carry in our showrooms, but as we do decide I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, you can check out a couple of videos that Johnson Wellness massage chairs sent us that are up on our YouTube channel now. They both do a wonderful job of explaining what 3D/4D rollers are all about. (4D adds the speed component, which they call “rhythm”). The longer 4′ video also goes into some detail about the body scanning feature. These videos offer some of the best graphic descriptions of the 3D/4D rollers and body scanning that I’ve ever seen. I think you’ll like them.
