[SCREEN TEXT: Remote Control]
Alan: Hi, I'm Dr. Alan Weidner from 'Massage-Chair-Relief.com' and today we are going to talk about the remote control of the HT-7120 massage chair by Human Touch. Now, remote controls usually come in two different ways, either as a stand alone remote that kind of sits in a little pocket on the side on the chair, as it does with the 7120, or it comes as a pedestal remote, which we can see over here on the Panasonic behind us, where it has a little stand that comes up from the side of the chair, and it sits there all the time – a little bit more conspicuous, a little bit more discreet, here. Now, the remote control of the 7120 is a very, very simple remote, and Human Touch is great at having very simple remotes to use. On this one, you can see that there's a bunch of buttons, you have your 'Automatic' program buttons, and you have your 'Manual' setting buttons.

Alan: Most, if not all massage chairs, will have a set of 'Automatic' programs, where you just push a button and it'll go through a series of, you know, 'Kneading,' 'Compression,' 'Airbags,' what not. And then every chair also has the ability to set a 'Manual' feature, like let's say you want 'Kneading and Percussion,' and you want to set it up in the low back. You can go over here on the side and push 'Zone,' you can roll the, you can use the 'Down' arrows to bring the rollers down in to low back area, and then you can push here whatever you want – 'Kneading and Compression' or 'Kneading' alone, 'Compression' alone, 'Percussion' alone, or 'Rolling' alone. You can also adjust the 'Width' of the rollers, so if you've got a large back and the rollers are too close together, and you feel the rollers going over the bone, then you can increase the 'Width,' and make it more comfortable. You can only use the 'Width' feature in the 'Manual' settings, you cannot adjust 'Width' in the 'Automatic' settings, and you'll see that the color is a light gray here, and a dark gray here. The dark gray represents the 'Automatic,' the light gray represents the 'Manual' settings.

Alan: Now, you'll also notice here that there's a 'Range' button, what this does is it determines how high the rollers will go up the neck. If it's too high and you're a short person, the rollers are going to beat the back your skull, and it's very uncomfortable, and so you can adjust the range by pointing the rollers down a little bit, or even more, so that the rollers come up only to the base of your skull. You'll also see here that there's a 'Recline' button. When we push the 'Recline' button, you see the chair does recline, and of course, you can bring it back up here as well, or you can push the 'Restore' button at the end of any program, and it'll bring the chair back up to a neutral position. You'll also see here that we've got a 'Foot and Calf Massage,' so its got a default program, it'll just take a moment and I'm going to stop that and we'll reset it. But you can push the 'Calf Massage' and you have three different settings there for the 'Calf Massage' – it says 'Foot and Calf' – there's not really a true foot massage on this one, but you can bend your knees and put your feet in to the calf wells to have your feet massaged as well. There's also a 'Stretch' program, very nice program, you push and hold that button, we'll go over a separate video where we talk about the 'Stretch' program in particular.

Alan: And then on the side, again, I already showed you the 'Zone,' and being able to adjust where the rollers are if you want a 'Manual' setting. You also have a 'Heat' button, which will give you heat in the low back. And then we have the 'Massage Comfort,' which is basically the massage roller intensity, the more squiggly the line, the more intense the massage. And then if we tilt it a little bit here, you can see red lights, there's seven red lights, if we push more intense, you'll see that the lights come down, which means more intense. If we press the less squiggly button, it makes it less intense, and you'll see the lights – can you see the lights all right, do I have it at the right angle? And then it goes all the the way up to a seventh setting at the very top. And that, in a nutshell, is the remote control – oh, you also have a timer display up here, and again, you can push the 'Stop' or 'Park' button, then the 'Restore' button, which brings everything back to where you began. But that is the remote control, very, very simple remote control for the Human Touch 7120, and I hope that this video has been of assistance to you.
