Unlike our ancestors of a few generations back most of us sit for over half of our waking hours, but our bodies are still wired to move. Even when we exercise regularly that is only a small part of our day. Some of the things we can do to give our bodies the consistent activity we need include fidgeting, standing regularly, walking away, taking meetings ‘on the road’ by walking and talking, and minimizing our sitting time at home after work.
