Even massage chairs from well-known brands can vary significantly in how well they are packaged for shipping.

For example, based on feedback from our delivery teams across all four of our stores, Infinity chairs are packed better than any other chairs we’ve seen. Good packaging is important because it significantly reduces the risk of damage while the chair is being transported by ship, truck, or other forms of freight.

When a chair is packaged properly, it has less opportunity to shift around inside the box during transit. That means there’s less chance of the chair being damaged along the way.

Unfortunately, some chairs are not packaged as well. If the chair can move around inside the box, constant shifting and rubbing can cause scratches, scuffs, and other cosmetic damage.

This can be particularly noticeable on chairs with plastic or fiberglass exteriors. The movement inside the box can leave scuff marks or scratches on areas such as the armrests and side panels.

Packaging may not be something you think about when purchasing a massage chair, but it can make a significant difference in the condition of the chair when it arrives at your home.
