I’m going to give you a quick tip that can save you a lot of heartache and money if you ever decide to return your new massage chair.
Regardless of where you buy your chair, there will be some type of return policy. Some companies don’t allow returns at all and only offer exchanges. If returns are allowed, most companies require that the chair be returned in the original boxes and packaging it came in. Many people aren’t aware of this.
When buying a chair, most people are focused on getting the best deal and choosing the right model. But just as important is buying from a retailer with a good return policy. One common requirement for a full refund is that the chair must be repackaged in its original boxes and materials.
If you’re not sure you’re going to keep the chair, keep the boxes. If you need to return it without the original packaging, you’ll likely be charged a premium for return shipping. Even worse, if the chair is shipped back wrapped in a blanket and strapped to a pallet and it gets damaged in transit, you will be responsible for the cost of those repairs. Unfortunately, this happens more often than people realize.
So here’s the takeaway:
First, make sure you fully understand the return policy before buying a massage chair.
Second, keep the boxes and packaging until you’re 100% certain you’re keeping the chair.
I hope you found this tip helpful. I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from Massage Chair Relief, and I’ll see you in the next video. Bye-bye.
