A Massage Chair For A 5’11” Ballroom Dancer!

Dr. Weidner,

I am seriously in the market for a massage chair.   I have read everything on the internet about every brand including the ones that you sell.   I have experienced the HT 270 chair 3 times in the past month and with its limited massage it gave me relief.

It was used and was being sold at a consignment store.  It was bought as I waited for it go down one more time.   This was a good thing because I started looking for one that had a warranty.

I have received a lot of massage by massage therapists in my life, but I can’t afford that often for I am a retired RN.  Please give me your recommendation for a chair that cost no more that $2500-3000.00

I have listen to some of your reports on massage chairs every two weeks.  I am 5’10” tall and like deep tissue work.  I have some low back pain due to loss of height in 3-4 vertebra.  I used to be 5’11”.  I am 68 years old and am a ballroom dances and like feet and leg massage also.  I know that your chair does your arms but chairs in my price rang may not include hands, lower and upper arms.

Thank you for a recommendation in my price range.

Pat

My Response:

Hi, Pat

Great to hear from  you! Thanks for your email. I appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to study massage chairs and checked out my videos. I hope they help in some way.

As I was reading your email, the chair that came to my mind was the IT-8200 by Infinite Therapeutics. It is a new chair. I sat on it for the first time last week and tomorrow I get one in my own showroom. It is an Inada Sogno look-a-like, but it is Chinese made. What it does have that I think you would love is foot rollers. We only carry two chairs that have foot rollers and the IT-8200 is one of them.  Before last Wednesday, when I sat on it for the first time, I had never felt foot rollers before in a massage chair. Most chairs have air bags in the feet section. So, rollers were very intriguing to me…and I was not at all disappointed. With your history as a ballroom dancer you will appreciate the foot rollers more than I ever would…and I loved it.
Here is the chair:

This chair also comes in a variety of colors, all of which are currently in stock. Infinite  Therapeutics has been around a while but has recently made some big changes that have increased their popularity among massage chair shoppers. Among other things, they’ve…

1. lowered the prices on all their chairs,
2. added the IT-8200 which has already become a best seller, and
3. adopted a more common and standard warranty, that is 1 year parts and labor, in-home, 2nd year parts, and a 3rd year of structure.

I speak regularly to their national sales manager and they seem to have fantastic customer support. I have no reservation making this recommendation to you. With the instant savings, the chair would cost you $3195, just barely above your budget limit. If you can swing it, I would recommend it. I really like this chair and think you will too.

Feel free to email or call me anytime with more questions or if you need assistance with your order. I am always available for you. My cell number is 801-651-2026.

By the way, this model also has a music system so you can listen to ballroom dance music while you relax and treat yourself in  this chair!

Thanks, again, for your email and giving me a chance to earn your business.
