In looking for a massage chair I compared the different chairs online. Being able to go to a showroom to try the different chairs is what convinced me that the Luraco i9 Max Special Edition was the chair for me. The retractable armrest makes it easy to get in and out of the chair. The Luraco chair had more features and massage areas then some of the other chairs. I found out that for the first time use of some of the auto massage profiles such as Health, Sport, Shiastu and a few others when a roller runs the length of your spine it is a little intense. Until I got used to these profiles I lowered the back intensities until I got used to them. One thing that I wish they had done a better job of is the remote control. The manual gives a basic overview of the remote screen but there is no detailed tutorial on how to navigate and use the controls of the remote. It is trial and error on learning how to use the remote. When you power up the chair you can switch from screen to screen but most of the controls on these screens are not active. For them to be active you must press the start button. When you press the start button it starts the spine scan and after the spine scan the massage profile that is selected starts. If you want to addjust the chair position or the intensity you must do it during the spine scan for during the massage. If you do it during the massage your hands are not in the armrest where they should be during the massage. There is a pause buttom but when you pause the massage the chair adjust and intensity controls do not work. Luraco should have left these controls active when you select the pause button which would have made it easier to make adjustments. Overall this is a great chair, the stretch mode is great and it has increased my flexibility and the other modes are relaxing and I hope to see the health benefits of this chair. The more I use the remote the more I learn about how to use it.
