Pro MaestroAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today I’m going to talk to you, or demonstrate to you, the waist and hip airbags of the Osaki Pro Maestro massage chair.

Alan: The airbags are double layered both in the hips and in the waist, and they’re on both sides, of course, and one thing that’s kind of cool about this chair is that they inflate quite a bit. I mean, they really grab you, like the hips will hold you in place, they’ll grab you. They don’t just kind of lightly push against your calves, or your thighs, or your back, they actually hold you in place, and one thing that’s unique about the waist airbags on this chair is that these airbags are out quite lateral. So, when they come out, they will actually grab you by the side of your ribs, and your low back, and hit those muscles on the side, but also holding you in place quite strong. A lot of waist airbags just kind of push you forward, push one side, then push the other.

Alan: These airbags actually inflate and hold you in place, and I’ll show you what I mean when we turn it on. So, we’ll turn the chair on now, and I’m going to show you how these airbags look when they’re actually operational. OK, the first thing you’ll notice is that the waist airbags have already begun to inflate, and you can see the waist airbags here, they’re double layered, and then you’ll see the hips go. They turn on alternately, so now we’ve got both hip airbags, and now we see the waist airbags inflating, and they inflate quite a bit. Of course, you can even adjust the air pressure by inflating them even more if you want more from it. But you’ll see that these airbags on the side, maybe it’s hard to see when I’m sitting there, it’s hard to see them. But now the waist airbags are inflating, and they’re actually grabbing the side of my body, and you know, I’m a little, maybe a little chubby around the midsection for my size and my age, but it’s still kind of grabbing me.

Alan: So, if you’re a thinner body, or you know, a more slight body frame, you’ll find that these things will probably feel like they’re wrapping around you even more, but the airbags in the hips also squeeze and grab you. And when you turn on auto-programs, and you use the rollers and these airbags simultaneously, you’ll feel that the airbags are holding you in place while the rollers go up and down your back. So, it’ll intensify the roller massage. It’ll feel like it’s digging in a little bit deeper because the body is moving up with the rollers, the airbags are holding the body in place, so it kind of tractions your body while the rollers go up and down your back, and that applies to the waist, and to the hips, and the low back. So, anyway, that’s how the airbags work in the hips and in the waist of the Osaki Pro Maestro massage chair.
