dictionaryAlan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘ and today we’re going to explain to you mechanical foot rollers in a massage chair. Now, foot rollers have become very, very popular over the last couple of years. Most massage chairs, if not all of them, that have foot and calf massage, foot and/or calf massage, have airbags that squeeze on the calves and on the feet, or in the case of the Human Touch chairs, has paddles, a harder, rubber paddle that kind of works in wave-like fashion on the calves and feet. Just until recently, that was basically, those were the essential ways to massage the feet. Now, you’ve got foot rollers, mechanical foot rollers, just like the rollers that work up and down your spine, they’ve got these smaller versions that work on the soles of your feet, and it feels wonderful.

Alan: Some chairs are a little bit aggressive, and it doesn’t feel as comfortable as it does others. Others are too light, and you hardly feel anything, but the foot rollers, for the most part, have become very, very popular, and people love them. They’re mechanical foot rollers, at this point, at the time of this recording, no chair would allow you to adjust the intensity of the foot rollers. So, if it’s too much, you’d have to put a little – like a little pillow or pad or something, like a washcloth folded up, or something – to decrease the intensity. If it’s not intense enough, there’s not really much you can do, but the foot rollers are a wonderful feature. When you combine the foot rollers, underneath your soles, with airbags pushing down on the feet, that are typically in the chairs anyway, you get this combination of pressure on the feet, squeezing the feet, pushing down on the rollers, and the rollers underneath the soles, working on your feet as well, it’s wonderful. I’m going to demonstrate on this chair, this is the IT-8500 from Infinity. I did this one because we could zip back the cover, and we could show you – these are the airbags that we were talking about, but we’re not talking about the airbags today, we’re talking about the rollers – and you can actually see the rollers working between my fingers.

Alan: Can you see them moving my fingers up and down, there’s three rollers, there’s one here, one here, and one there. Some chairs have two rollers, some have three, some have one, but you can see those rollers are just spinning, and you can see how that would work on the bottom of your feet, and it feels magnificent, magnificent. The IT-8500 does have a very nice foot roller massage, and that’s why we’re showing it to you, but it has the triple rollers. So, that is the mechanical foot roller of the IT-8500 from Infinity. Of course, there’s other chairs that have the rollers, you’ll be able to experience it on any of the chairs nowadays, that have a foot roller, you’ll experience it one way or another. They won’t all feel the same, as I mentioned, but the therapeutic benefit of having your feet rolled is fantastic, and you’ll love it.
