Mail Bag – Iyashi Concerns; Customer with Cancer; Zero-gravity vs. Zero Embrace

CUSTOMER EMAIL #1 (Infinity Iyashi concerns)

emailThanks for the follow-up Alan. There are certain things we really enjoy about the Iyashi but others that have us puzzled and unsure of our decision.

1. love the ‘wall-away’ feature
2. the bluetooth is nice cause it indicates to me that there may be future customization capabilities with programming
the routines of the chair (possibly just wishful thinking on my part?)
3. the very long track on the back rollers that takes it past the glutes to the upper thighs – very nice!
4. the heat and zero gravity features Continue reading “Mail Bag – Iyashi Concerns; Customer with Cancer; Zero-gravity vs. Zero Embrace” »

Mail Bag – OS-7075R vs. OS-Marquis; Chair For Neck & Shoulder

emailHere are some great questions from customers, just like you, from our Mail Bag…

Hi there, I’m just wondering what would be the better chair out of the Osaki OS-7075R and the Osaki OS-Pro Marquis?

Hi, Henry
Thanks for your email. I would have to say, based on straight feature-to-feature comparison, that the OS-7075R is the better chairs. A little more money, but more features. Both chairs are made in the same Chinese factory, so they have body styles that are reminiscent of each other. The 7075R has had a few more tech support issues that Osaki has had to deal with, but the OS-Pro Marquis is very new and it’s reliability has yet to be determined. Does Osaki Have Backlit Remote Controls?

I recently had a comment on one of my posts asking if the Osaki chairs had backlit remote control buttons. What that means is if there is a light behind each button or behind the remote face as a whole that would allow the user to see the buttons in the dark. This is a legitimate question as many folks use the chair in a dark or poorly illuminated room and have trouble seeing the buttons if they are not backlit.

So, I emailed Osaki and asked one of their experts if their chairs had backlit remotes. Below is a list of each chair, whether or not it’s remote is backlit, any additional comment relayed to me by my Osaki contact, as well as images of each remote control. I hope this helps. Each company has a different type of remote and not all of them are backlit. Perhaps someday I will present a full article going through each company’s remote back lighting. Osaki OS-Pro Marquis & OS-3D Pro Intelligent – Literature Reviews

OS-Pro Marquis
OS-Pro Marquis

Osaki has been really active in the new model department over the last few weeks and months. I have already discussed the new models in previous posts, but thought today I’d go over the major feature-sets of the new OS-Pro Marquis and OS-3D Pro Intelligent. Each chair has something quite unique that contributes to the market, rather than just a subtle spin on other models.

I don’t have either one in my showroom yet, but am thinking about getting the Intelligent. At that point I can write a real, experiential review. But, for now, these reviews are merely literature reviews, based on the information provided to me by Osaki. Here we go… Continue reading “Osaki OS-Pro Marquis & OS-3D Pro Intelligent – Literature Reviews” »

New Osaki Models – and a Lesson on 3D Rollers!

Osaki has been very busy putting out new models over the last month. First there was the OS-7200CR, which is the same chair as the OS-7200H, except with mechanical foot rollers and a “dome-like” cover over the top of the chair.

Then, about a week after that chair was announced, another model, the OS-3D Pro Dreamer, was brought to market. This chair is the same as the OS-7200CR, but with 3D rollers. What are 3D rollers? Continue reading “New Osaki Models – and a Lesson on 3D Rollers!” »
