Specialized physical therapy helps teens with scoliosis get ahead of the curve

Currently there are three forms of treatment for scoliosis; a wait and see approach, the use of a back brace, and surgery. A new form of therapy is currently being researched in order to determine the effectiveness and benefits. Schroth physiotherapy is a way for individuals with scoliosis to exercise and strengthen the muscles in their back on order to reduce and correct the abnormal curvature of their spines. Individual who have used the therapy have seem some success and reduced pain.
