I recently created a video demonstrating how a newcomer to the Osaki OS-7000 massage chair can get familiar with the chair quite quickly. Here is that video and, below it, the transcripts to the video for those who would rather skim than watch…
Transcript of the Video Titled “Osaki OS-7000 Massage Chair – Getting Started”
[SCREEN TEXT: Getting Started]
Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com‘, and today we’re sitting in the Osaki 7000 massage chair, very popular chair, nice chair, very, very vigorous chair. What I’m going to do is I’m just going to, this is a very brief video to show you how this chair, how you get started on this chair, because it’s a little different from most. When you push the ‘Power’ button, which is at the top of the remote control, which is embedded in to the arm rest, when you push that top button, you see the color change from red to blue, the first thing that happens is you feel a vibration in the seat, and it’s kind of ticklish [laughs], so if you don’t like the vibration, you may not like that at all. But it’s kind of ticklish, and you’ll see that the chair reclines automatically, I haven’t pushed any buttons, it automatically goes back in to the recline position, and it automatically goes, by default, to the ‘Weightless’ program, which you can see on the remote, that red light indicates what program that it’s on, the ‘Weightless’ program.
If you want to change any of the programs, you kind of have to wait until the ‘Power’ button has been turned on, and the chair is reclined and the ‘Weightless’ program has begun. So now, got to get my glasses on, now let’s see, let’s say we want to go in to the ‘Neck and Shoulders’ or ‘Whole Body’, let’s do ‘Whole Body’, we push that one, now you’ll see it’s changed the light to the, the red light is turned on to this one, and the chair is coming back up to a different position, and now, and of course you can slide this back in there if you’d like and leave it, but now I’ve changed the, changed the program so now it will automatically default, or not default, but go to the proper positioning, and the proper massage will begin for the ‘Whole Body’ program. But you have to wait until it gets, the chair reclines, when you first turn on that button, it goes to the ‘Weightless’ program and then you can change it right after that. But be aware of that, because you might think ‘Gee, it’s reclining and I’m trying to change the program, nothing’s happening’. Well, it doesn’t happen because the chair’s scanning your body, it’ll do nothing, while it’s scanning your body except put you in that position and prepare for the ‘Weightless’ program. Once that ‘Weightless’ program is started, and that red, that light is turned red, then you can go ahead and turn on to the ‘Whole’ program, or you can lift the remote, and change it to any of the manual programs. So, again like all massage chairs you’ve got the automatic programs, and then underneath the handle, usually underneath the handle for most chairs, you have the manual settings, and you can change it and move it to where you want and have it do whatever you want to whatever part of your body at whatever intensity. And that is a great introductory video to get started on the Osaki 7000 massage chair.
