Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ with a video talking about the Osaki 6000 massage chair headpiece and neck massage. Now, the Sogno, the Inada Sogno chair kind of pioneered the idea of a headpiece that has airbags that massage your neck, as opposed to rollers that go up and down your back, up to your neck, and roll the neck. Some people like the neck massage by the airbags, some like it by the rollers. Well, if you have a chair like the Osaki 6000 that has airbags in the head pillow, you can also lift that out of the way and have rollers work on your neck as well. And what I’m going to do is I’m going to show you how the airbag works on the headpiece, so you can see what it’s actually doing to your neck. So, we’ll turn on the ‘Neck’ from the remote, and if you’ll zero in, or zoom on this, you can see the airbag inflating. So, it’s essentially an inflationary airbag, it doesn’t do much, except just compress the neck. So, therapeutically speaking, it’s probably limited compared to what a roller can do.

Alan: But for people that, the roller is too intense for them or too aggressive, the airbag will be just perfect, and it’s very soothing. It may not be as therapeutic, but it’s very, very soothing. Well, the thing is, is that if you are, if you want something a little bit more aggressive than this, and the airbag is not quite what you’re looking for, what you can do is, you can actually turn off the airbag, you can lift the airbag up and over the chair. Well, there’s a couple ways you can do it, you can either bring it up and over and Velcro it in place, so the headpiece is out of the way, so there’s a Velcro stick here that keeps it out of the way, or what we like to do, and for people that really want an aggressive massage, you can lift this whole thing up and over the back, and now your neck will be exposed to the rollers, and the only thing separating the rollers from your neck is this linen, this linen cloth. And so now, you can turn the rollers on, and when we turn the rollers on, you will see, you see the rollers now working the neck, it’s fairly intense and quite vigorous, and that’s going right up against your neck.

Alan: Of course, here, the rollers are going to go down in to the low back, but that gives you an idea of what you can do with the neck, with having this option of the airbags or the rollers. And then when you’re done, and for the sake of aesthetics, you can just pull it back over, and you’ve got your headpiece back to where it is, and now again, the next time you sit on it, you have that option to lift it up and out of the way, or you can use the headpiece to use the airbags to massage your neck. And that is, that’s basically the nuts and bolts of the Osaki 6000 headpiece, air massage, and roller massage underneath it. Thanks.
