OS-3D Pro Cyber

Alan: Hi, I’m Dr. Alan Weidner from ‘Massage-Chair-Relief.com’ and today we’re going to demonstrate the electronic leg extension, foot-and-calf extension, of the Osaki OS-3D Pro Cyber. Now, the leg extension is a nice feature to have because not everybody has the same length of legs. I have a shorter leg, my wife has longer legs, so it helps to be able to cater to the different body sizes and morphologies. Well, a lot of chairs have a manual extension, you just push with your legs, and the ottoman will extend, and then you pull your legs back, and the ottoman will retract. Well, with an electronic extension, like the Cyber has, similar to the OS-3D Pro Dreamer, which we have on another video, you can extend the legs out with a push of a button on the remote control.

Alan: Now, the Cyber’s a little bit different, and by the way, the features I’m showing you right now, are when the chair is in the zero-gravity position, when you’re in the regular, neutral – regular, neutral reclined position, your legs will, when you push on one of the buttons – the leg will go out, and extend, and measure you, in that position. So, it’ll stop when it assumes that it’s at the right position for your length, but when you’re in a zero-gravity position, you can extend it all the way out, and then you can retract it all the way in, and that’s what we’re going to show you now, so you can see how it works. Well, on the manual portion of the Osaki Cyber remote control, there’s a little lid, a little flap, and you flap that down, and these three buttons right here, adjust the extension and retracting motion of the ottoman of the OS-3D Pro Cyber. So, there’s one here that the Dreamer does not have, this button here, you’ll see two arrows, an arrow down and an arrow back, I’m going to show you what happens when you use that. Go ahead and pan out a little bit, and we’re going to push this button, and what it’ll do is, it’ll extend the ottoman all the way out, and then start bringing it all the way back in, and then when you’ve reached the spot where your legs are most comfortable, you can either push the button again to stop it, or you can push with your toes on a sensor that’s at the top of the foot rollers, and you just push with your toes down, and it’ll stop it there as well.

Alan: So, that’s what I’m going to use, I’m going to use the button to extend it, and when it’s retracting, I’m going to use my toes to push it, and we’re going to videotape the process. So, here we go, I’m going to push on the button, so I just now pushed on the button, now the ottoman’s extending, notice now the feet are going out, and now you notice the calf is going out as well, and it extends quite a few inches. Now it’s coming back, and when it’s at my right height and my right comfort level, when my feet are flat on the rollers, now, I push with the sensor, and the retraction’s stopped. Now, you can also stop it, and again, like I said, by pushing these buttons, or let’s say, I am where I am now, but it’s still not high enough, I pushed prematurely. Well, then you can push the retraction button, and you’ll see that this thing will come up a little bit higher, and I can either push with my toes, or push that button again to stop it. Or, let’s say it’s too high now, and I want to extend it, push the extend button, and then push – oh, sorry, when you, you cannot push with your toes on the extend button – you got to push the button to stop it when it’s extending out. The only time the sensor works is when it’s retracting and coming back up. So, here, I’ll show you again, it’s coming back up now, and when it hits the spot I’m comfortable, push with my toes, bang, it’s done.
